Meet Doctor Carlos M. Wiegering

Dr. Carlos Wiegering treats a vast array of spinal conditions in his work as a chiropractor. He is committed to promoting optimal, individual health and wellbeing for each of his patients. Dr. Wiegering uses a ‘whole person’ approach to wellness.

He looks for root causes of body imbalances and provides appropriate adjustments. This includes lifestyle recommendations to return the body to balance. Dr. Wiegering works in conjunction with allopathic and holistic professionals to support your whole health.

Dr. Wiegering is a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School, where he was an avid tennis and soccer player. He went on to play Division 1 tennis and graduate from Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, receiving a B.S. in Biology. He then attended Life University, School of Chiropractic, in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Wiegering worked as an associate doctor in West Chester, Pennsylvania for several years before returning to his hometown to start his own practice in Altoona, PA.

He is married to Heather McKinney Wiegering. Together, they have two beautiful children, Sarah and Nico. In his free time, Dr. Wiegering volunteers as a coach for the boy’s high school tennis team at Hollidaysburg. Since 2010, he has been a board member for the UPMC Altoona Foundation, which helps raise money for medical needs in support of the local community.
